While we are living here on earth, we are transitioning from glory to glory. We, who seek the Sacred One, are growing in maturity of Spirit each day.
St. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 3: 18, All of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.
In order for us to transition from glory to glory we have to be open to what is before us and around us; we have to be open-minded, see outside the box, and be alert to the Sacred in the ordinary. When we seek the Sacred One or look for the glory of the Lord in creation, we need to remove the veil that covers us and obstructs our view in order for our vision to be clear and sharp. We need to look beyond the ordinary person and the plain object so that we see the glory deep within and around them.
In seeing the spiritual person and the enhanced object, we are seeing their created essence—the glory of the Lord; and, in seeing the glory before us, it is reflected back to us as through a mirror and we transition stage by stage, from one degree of spiritual glory to another. We are holy beings; and if we remain open to the Sacred One, the Holy Spirit, the Creator, we will continue to advance from glory to glory.
Our bodies need physical exercise and nourishment in order to grow strong; our souls need spiritual exercise and nourishment in order to grow in strength. If we take time daily to sit quietly and look within; to seek the Sacred, read the holy word and contemplate the Creator; we become one with the Lord and grow strong in His spirit; we transition from glory to glory.
